Dianne Louise Radcliffe was born on January 26, 1963, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, to Jerry and Rose Radcliffe. She grew up on the family dairy farm in Melrose, Wisconsin, alongside her five siblings—Mark, Brent, Janet, Suzanne, and Dale. Farm life taught her the value of hard work, responsibility, and independence from an early age.

She was a proud Melrose Mustang who enjoyed wrestling cheerleading and playing volleyball. She made lifelong friendships and memories that she would carry with her for the rest of her life. She loved laughing while telling stories about the trouble she and her friends got into growing up—usually with the understanding that her parents probably would not have found those stories nearly as funny as she did.

After high school, Dianne attended WWTC in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where she earned her nursing degree and began what would become a more than 40-year nursing career. She first worked as a registered nurse in Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin, and later worked in both the ER and OB departments at St. Mary’s Hospital/Franciscan Skemp in Sparta.

On September 17, 1983, she married a Cataract boy, Brian Olson. Together they built a home on the family farm in Cataract, Wisconsin, and raised four daughters: Rebecca, Megan, Brianna, and Rachel. Though their marriage later ended in divorce in 2003, the family they built remained one of the most important parts of her life.

After moving to Ohio, Dianne continued her education and earned her BSN from Ohio University. She worked at Berger Hospital in Circleville before spending many years at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe, serving in a variety of nursing roles throughout her career. During her years in Ohio, she shared much of her life with her friend, Daryl, and eventually built her dream home in the countryside near Frankfort, Ohio. She loved having space for large gardens, flowers, and her fishpond, creating a peaceful place that reflected the life she enjoyed most. She retired in 2024 after dedicating more than four decades to caring for others.

Dianne was strong, creative, and deeply independent. She loved gardening, canning, cooking, and baking pies. She enjoyed antiquing and collecting unique treasures, along with stained glass, woodworking, and crafting with resin and pressed flowers. She loved fishing, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and spending time at the North Carolina coast searching for seashells and fossilized shark teeth. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren—Landon, Wyatt, Olivia, and Cassidy—who brought her endless pride and happiness. Most of all, she loved her family and the simple moments spent together.

On March 18, 2026, Dianne passed away after a courageous 16-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Dianne will be deeply missed by her family, friends, former coworkers, and all who knew and loved her.
